Wow, I edited these photos in less than a week. Must be a new record. xD

I got kinda sad when I took these photos. Melissa is a very flirting woman and has been with many men and not many of those men have treated her very well. Luckily she ends up finding a very great girlfriend in Olivia. I hope to get Olivia painted next year and to get a body for her so I can get couple photos of them. ♥

Bodies for my characters

Some of my dolls are on temporary bodies, some are just heads and some have to share a bit with others, but eventually I want them all to have a perfect body of their own. For some of them I haven't considered resin match yet and I know there will be some problems since Takumi and Trent doesn't match. These bodies could also change over time. I don't know all the bodies out there and before I have bought bodies for all of them there will be new companies and older companies will probably renew their bodies.

Charlie
Originally the April Story body I bought was meant for Charlie, but then Shay had to borrow it for some photos and she ended up keeping it. Later I also changed my mind and now I want Charlie to be a bit taller so I'm thinking that Volks' SD16 body would be great for her.

Takumi
I want Takumi to be the same height as his brother (who is around 63cm). Also I want him to be the smaller one in his relationship with Hayden (who will be 66cm). For him I really want the Popodoll 63cm body.

Trent
At first I actually wanted Trent to be buff and looked at some of Granado's bodies. But later on I thought it that it would fit his character better if he was tall and skinny, so a Popodoll 68cm body would be much better for him.

Melissa
I'm not sure about the perfect body for Melissa yet, but I want her to be the tallest of my girls. Around 65-66cm would be perfect. I kinda like the Popodoll 68cm girl body, but I'm afraid it might be just a tad too tall. It could also be a Spiritdoll 2nd ver. Proud body, but I'm not sure if the 66cm height is with or without high-heel legs or not. I would have to ask them about that.

Ethan
Another one that I'm not too sure about. He should be around my average doll height, which is around the 63cm. The Spiritdoll Elegance body is only 61.5 cm, but it might work fine for him.

Yet another doll maker

Yup, I seriously have a weakness for these things! :3 I use way to much time making my characters in them. This time it's only my girl characters, since the boys were more troublesome to make. I don't have Ayla and Natalie home yet, but I wanted to add them anyway since it would be boring with just 3 characters.

I've had some Shounen Jump mangas lying around for a while and had thought about just throwing them out, but then I got the idea to use the pages as background for photos.

Well, Trent and Melissa are siblings and they have a quite tense relationship. Trent doesn't like to show it openly, but deep down he cares a lot about his sister. Melissa on the other hand doesn't mind showing that she cares about her brother.
Eventually Melissa will need a new body, she's not supposed to be this much smaller than her brother. But I have other priorities before that. xD

My dolls as chibis

I've had this post in my draft for way too long by now. It's about time to publish it. Besides I've made new chibis on another site which I also want to post, but I thought these should be posted first. xD

I have btw sent Shay and Charlie out for face-up commission in Poland at Shaiel's. I'm so excited about getting my girls painted!

How "finished" are my dolls?

I have bought a lot of stuff for my SD crew lately and it has made me think about how much they're "finished". It makes me so happy that Hazuki and Takumi are close to be "finished", but I still have a lot to buy to get the others "finished". D:
And it's not that Hazuki, Takumi and Melissa won't get more clothes or shoes, but the others don't even have a complete outfit or any shoes, which is why I wrote it for them.

Not the most creative title, but I have never been too good with titles. -.-
My first real pictures of Melissa. She the first SD girl with face-up I've have in a long time. The body is one I'm temporary borrowing from Fushite. ♥ I'll be buying my own girl body really soon. Whether it'll be for Melissa or for some of my other girls, I still don't know. Hopefully they can share. xD

Onto a new year

I promised to make a post about how my 2012 has been and how I hope my 2013 will be and here it is. I like bullet point lists, so this post will just be a couple of those.

I didn't have too many plans for 2012:

• Buy a SOOM Bygg head for my grey skin Teenie Gem body.
• Buy a new sculpt for Hazuki. 
• Ship either Hazuki or Takumi out for face-up commission. 
• Perhaps buy a SD body.

Here's what did happen in 2012:

• Bought a SOOM Bygg head.
• I did buy a new sculpt for Hazuki (LLT Little Edria), but ended up changing my mind. Kept my Shiwoo as Hazuki and made the Edria a new character.
• Jointed a SDF split for an Abadon head.
• Shipped both Hazuki and Takumi out for face-up.
• Bought a Dollgru #12 head.
• Bought a Rosettadoll Agave head.

Other than that I gave up on doing face-ups myself and sold all my face-up stuff (which I now regret) and I sold 3 of my SOOM Teenie Gems, mostly to focus more on the SDs, but also because I want new sculpts for them.

Things I hope will happen in 2013:

• Ship Shay or/and my new girl (still nameless) out for face-up commission.
• Buy bodies for at least 2 of my heads.
• Buy a new wig for Melissa and Eli.
• Buy urethane eyes for at least 2 dolls.
• Buy clothes for Melissa, Trent, Takumi or/and Shay.
• Practise my sewing.
• Get better at taking pictures more often.
• Get new face-up stuff and start practise again.

I hope I won't buy any more new heads this year. Hopefully there won't be released some too tempting sculpts. I think that most of those things is do-able, I already plan to buy those 2 bodies soonish.

Box opening: Dollgru #12 heads

Well, it's almost two weeks since these heads arrived. I wanted to post this opening along with a review of Dollgru, but I keep postponing writing the review. So in the end I thought that it would be better to just post the box opening now and the review sometime later.

Time for a proper post

It's about time for a proper post, where I don't just talk about the layout or linking to other sites. :)

I ordered a Dollgru #12 back in September and had ordered it blank at first. A few weeks later I regretted and asked if it was still possible for me to order a face-up on the head. Luckily it was and Kappa was even kind enough to give me a $20 discount on the face-up. ♥ A week ago the heads without face-ups was shipped out and I had expected to wait at least a few weeks more, but today I received a mail with photos of the face-up and she is just beautiful! Now I'm just sad that I don't have a body for her when she gets home. Actually I don't have anything for her at all. D:
