Hayden is home

I just realized that my three last posts have been about arrivals. Well, I've just had a lot of incoming stuff and a lack of energy to write anything else.

I'm so happy with my purchase. Milhwa is such a beautiful sculpt, he is even handsome without a face-up. *^* He needs a new wig though. I had two black wigs ready for him, but I'm not really satisfied with them. I need to find someone who can paint him and hopefully someone who will open slots soon. I want pictures of him and Takumi together. ♥ Oh yeah, he also needs new eyes. He is supposed to have green eyes, but I didn't have any extra green eyes home.

Incomming heads

I was really surprised by Napidoll, they shipped out my Pekato head only a month after I bought it. I had expected to wait much longer for him. He arrived a few days ago and he is so cute. Hayden (Switch Milhwa) was shipped two months after my order and is currently in the customs, so he will be here soon as well.


I didn't plan on getting Ethan painted right away, but one of the face-up artists (Sensei's Make Up) I really like just announced that she will open 20 slots for August soon. So I will try to get a slot for Ethan. Originally I had thought about sending both Ethan and Hayden out for the same artist to save on shipping fees, but I realized that Sensei's style just doesn't fit too well for Hayden, so I will look for another artist to paint him. ^^

I bought Hayden

Yesterday was the day where SWITCH sold their heads for half an hour at 2PM Korean time. I was lucky and only had to get up at 7AM to join the event. I was so nervous that I would oversleep or that SWITCH' website would crash during the event. But I got him, I got the Milhwa head. Hayden is coming home and Takumi will finally have his boyfriend. My first ever doll pair. :'D
Funny thing about choosing Hayden's name btw. I had cut the names down to Ewan and Hayden and had actually chosen Ewan for him, but every pairing name between Ewan and Takumi did not sound or look good. Then I tried with Hayden and when I saw the pairing name Haymi I knew that I had to name him Hayden. XD

I can't believe I'm waiting for such a beauty. ♥ And I just can't stop looking at owner pictures of the sculpt on flickr, so much handsomeness!


This is how I imagine he will look like. Now I just have to look for a face-up artist who should paint him.
